Whitefish Chain fishing

What has everyone been seeing for action out on the chain?  I have tried for 2 weeks to find the crappies and have had decent action but nothing lights out.  I have basically been trying the whitefish lakes areas rather than Cross this year.  I have been finding fish in the 1-5 ft range but constantly have to move as it seems as quickly as the fish are found they seem to disappear.  I think this weekend I might try my luck on the walleyes a morning or 2.  Hope you all are getting in on the spring action!!  Report how your doing...

Last 2 weekends I found a decent amount in 7-8 fow.  I would imagine they should be in that same general area this weekend as well.  I Was also able to find a few fish under boat lifts.

I am going up again and will try the crappies again and certainly am gonna go for the walleyes for a morning or 2.  good luck to everyone this weekend b safe out on the chain and everywhere else!!
