Crazy to think this weekend is opener already, where is everyone heading this year? My boat is still in storage so I will probably try for some panfish off some local docks maybe if I'm feeling ambitious head to the river and toss some small cranks

Yep I can't wait!

I heard the clayhole in Chaska is filled with walleye this year, they stocked them in there just 2 months ago. smile

We are just staying around town for opener.

I'm going to miss the mayhem and take my mom to lunch then go on a four day trip leaving the Wed after opener. That leads into skipping the Memorial Day weekend craziness. laugh

Headed north! This will be the 5th year our group of friends and our kids meet at a friends cabin on Sullivan lake. The fishing varies every year but I think this year will be good because of the earlier ice off and warmer water temps. Fish or not we will make more great memories!

Going to give Waconia a shot at sunrise.

River is the best bet around the metro for walleyes.

I was only able to get out for about 2 and half hours on Saturday because of other commitments. Sure was nice out and better than not getting out at all. No Walleyes for me tried a little jigging, and pulling spinners anywhere from 12-32 fow, caught 1 small pike and missed a few bites. Got to try out the new gopro and think it will be a good fun tool for fishing this year. Here is my 1st attempt at a fishing video. Can't wait to get out again.

I love my GoPro mess around with the different settings and make sure you have a couple of extra batteries you will need them.

Yea I think it will be a fun tool to use, I have 3 batteries and the direct plug in to the cig lighter as well so should not have a problem with keeping power.

Did you download the app on your phone, if not do it you can control the camera from your phone see what you are shooting delete video etc much nicer then spending the extra cash on the remote and viewing screen.

Yes I have downloaded the app, does make it easier to see what you are actually shooting and starting and stopping etc.
