I know that when fishing for walleyesmost people would say to release the females and keep the males because 1 male can fertilize more than one female but does anyone know if the same theory applies to pan fish? I know that with sunfish the mail will make the bed and sit on the eggs there after but can one male sunfish have more than one female sunfish lay her eggs in his bed? as the spring fishing season comes around I wanted to know if it was best for me to take an equal amount of males and females out of the lake or to take more males.
