Fishing Guides in Duluth

Who does everyone suggest for fishing guides on Lake Superior and surrounding waters and Rivers out of Duluth? Any long time proven guys or up and coming young guys to know about?

On Lake Superior I would say any of the Hooker boats or Whitewater Charters and in the St. Louis River Charlie Nelson or Chris Edquist.

I will be running a 38' Ocean Yacht Super Sport out of Duluth this summer. Barry from Whitewater is retired, he was one of my mentors for the past decade. He is going to work as a first mate on my boat occasionally.

Great news Chris! Folks Chris knows his stuff and will be great addition to the charter fleet. I have fished with Chris and he knows his stuff. I do believe Cheffrey may be doing some chartering as well now that I think of it. His boat is real naughty and he runs Superior Sport Fishing. Huge boat.

Thanks for the mention Steve, I actually am full time chartering June, July & half of August now with the University job. We get started tomorrow, Saturdays are pretty full, however there are plenty of holes to fill. (Reel Nauti)
