predictions for 2015 smelt run

It looks like the shorelies are looking pretty good. I know we need more rain to raise the water temp. What/when are your predictions for the ruN this year?

I'm thinking third week in April.

Make a trip to the point. I predict May 3-5 if this weather holds up. Yesterday temps 40 in Duluth and 80 in the cities and we had a hard east wind which blew in a lot of floating ice and just made a bigger and higher pile on the beach. River dipping probably not going happen due to no water coming down the streams which created large gravel bars
