Looks like Forest lost most of the ice cover yesterday. Crappie fishing should pick up in short order.

Did 2 and 3 open up? I went and checked the willow point landing and both lakes still had quite a bit of ice. That was at 5:30pm. First was wide open.

Hoping the rain knocked the ice out. Need to get out with my dad and break in the new boat.

I didn't get over to the eastern side of the lake but 1st was open and I have to believe that by this afternoon most of the lake will be ice free, especially with the forcasted winds.

We went out for a light cruise on third on Saturday. Water was 43.5 degrees. We did no fishing though. I did a Insight Genesis log of the southwest portion of third pretty much the whole shoreline. Pretty interesting to see the differences between actual and what's on a chip. Didn't mark much of anything for fish.

To the guy that was out wakeboard, and the other riding a jet ski, you guys are nuts lol! That water was WAAAAY to cold for this guy to be getting in!
