125merc outboard

It's a 2003 merc 125 salt water motor. It's a very cold blooded motor. I changed plugs this weekend, thinking it was fouled up after the break in, but it still doesn't want to idle. It will start up, run rough, then will just kill. When I try to to punch it, it will take off, then hesitate, then go. I'm a new boat owner, so any ideas you guys have, I would appreciate. The best thing you can do for this motor is...take it back where you bought it and tell them to fix it, it's in warranty.
If you try to work on it yourself, you might void warranty and have a lot of expenses.
