First fishing report 2015

I talked to a couple of guys who just got off the river at the Pelland landing.They said they caught 15 walleyes with a 24 incher being the biggest,there were other boats catching fish too.A pink jig tipped with a shiner worked the best.

There were 12 rigs at the landing.

The cooler temps have slowed down the bite . I talked to a guy who has been fishing the river from the Pelland landing down to the Big Fork river , he said they were getting a few resident walleye's,but the fishing was slow.

The sturgeon are at the mouth of the Little Fork river big time,I got customers in and their getting some nice fish,the dam at I Falls is also producing some nice action.

The weather looks to be getting better,next week should be excellent.
