20 inches is about the avg for the area. The bite on blue seems to have slowed down. My brother was set up in 20 feet and the caught 5 fish from yesterday until noon today. He heard from talking to guys 25-27 feet was better.

My brother spent the night last Saturday on Blue and only caught one fish after dark. He had one other buddy fishing with him and they both are fairly good anglers. I was just giving the report I had got from my brother. He said they marked fish but they would not bite. The other fish came just as the sun was setting.

Could be I guess but most I know have not done so well on Blue and are moving to Green. I did hear the deeper the better on Blue but that area seemed to fill up with house pretty fast.

kept six nice crappies out of blue. bite was on yesterday. had a spot on green that was producing. was all by myself. made the mistake of telling one person where i was and bam, my spot is a zoo now. good thing i had a back up spot on blue. they not quite as deep as you think. fish away from the crowd.

I have never fished this lake before in the winter and will more than likely be going out in the morning before sun up. Are there any areas that I need to be aware of when driving out pertaining to ice conditions?

When going out from the access head west, because to the east of the access there is small creek that enters. other wise you should be fine.

Lots of traffic on the lake the last few times I have been out there. Anyone having much luck ??? I have seen a lot of orange weedkiller tags and there is an alge bloom going. But the fishing has still been ok.

I have been fshing in the kayak the last few times I have been out, so just small bass in shallow water for me.
