Just seeing how others did on deals at the ice show this weekend. I was able to purchase the Flx 28 for $530 and then walked out with 13 fishing wicked combo for $25. Of course brochures for dreaming and drooling. Another good year at the show.

A friend of mine got a killer deal on an 8" Strikemaster lazer Pro for only $324 at the show.

For me I had ordered a couple new TUCR custom rods and arranged to pick them up from them at the Show. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bonus 10% show discount. They also had a $10 discount on Otter Rod Boxes, plus $10 for each additional TUCR rod purchased ... so couldn't pass up the $30 discount on that.

My son had been saving and researching the best flasher, he had $400 to spend. He got a Hummingbird Ice 55 for $424, then a $55 rebate from Hummingbird, so after tax, $395 for an Ice55! Not bad! He was fine with the 45, but since the 55 has a case also, it was a better deal.

Buddy got a FL-20 Ultra Pack for $475, I got the VMC jigs and a cap.

I'll be waiting for a report on the FL28, I'm very interested also but everyone here is on the MarCum bandwagon and good advice is slim to none. Keep us posted.

I picked up 2 of the new St. Croix Avid rods for $35 and some Northern Bright Light LED's. Also found a great deal on some non lead crappie jigs. Also found some 1000 size Shimano Siennas for $25 a piece.
