Kind of white on the big lake today, I was by myself and chickened out when I lost sight of Twin Island and the nearby fishhoused were getting had to see. <P>Hope everyone gets off OK.

Yeah, LOW is the wrong place to be in bad weather. My dad just call me. He was off work today and decided to give it a try over at Zippel. He didn't stay too long before he chickened out too. I am going out tomorrow if the weather cooperates.

Scarface: How much of the white stuff did you get up there? We recieved just a dusting the first part of the week while we were up. They were hoping for some cold weather (its coming) before any large amounts of snow. Not a flurry down here in St Cloud today. Bill

Hard to say with all the wind but I'd guess about 1/2 a foot. It drifted up and over the seat of my snowcat in the yard.

We figured about 6" of snow also, my partner and I fished out from Long Point Resort in 32'. We snowmobiled to my house, there was enough action to keep us there until 2:30 PM, caught about 25-30 sauger and walleye, one 21 1/2" eye. We kept one limit. NE wind. The visibility was not very good. Had GPS along no problems.
