Redwood Lake

Recommended Posts

Hello, I just moved to Redwood Falls and was wondering if there are any gamefish or panfish in Redwood Lake and if anyone fishes it?

People fish it but it isn't a hot spot by anymeans. You could try Schoolgrove, wood lake, lady slipper for some close ones but I normally go up around Willmar or drive to So Dak. Good Luck!

give it a try it's ariver system so pike are posibility. there are lake south of Marshall that flow into redwood river, so walleye and crappie are posible. if you want to catch little panfish try sleepy eye lake.

the best night of walleye fishing for me to date was on redwood lake. hands down!!! it was about 15yrs ago.. it has brought me there many times since with no results, and i mean zeros. use caution when augering as the bottom is likely very close..

Be careful. Ice is uneven by the dam. Lake is almost completely filled in with silt and is about a foot deep all the way across. If you can find a hole it could be good though
