My son caught a 32" walleye in 30ft just north of Schusters last house to the east. He released it but we only had atape no scale.Could you tell us the weight and girth.Thank you and congrats on your trophy. GOOD Fishing DrJ.

I was in Schuster's middle row of houses, pretty close to the last one to the West. The fish was 11.0# on my scale, but I'm not sure if that was right. Dropped off at the taxidermist yesterday, and it had a 18" girth 2 days after I caught it. Using walleye central's weight calculator, it said it should have been 12.5#. I don't really care what it weighed anyway ... we all know it's that magical 30 + inches we look for! Hope this helped! I saw your post about the kids fish ... too bad about no camera. I took my brother ( a photojournalist) with me to Schuster's, and he snapped off about 2 rolls! Happy new year, and congrats to your son!
