Who to start Fantasy football

Would you start G. Bernard at Baltimore or Doug Martin at home against Carolina. Ellington is my other back who I'm starting. PPR format

Depends on if you trust Martin to get catches, because running against Carolina was futile last season. Baltimore is good against the run, but they aren't Carolina good. I would expect low numbers from both backs, but Martin might get a few more touches as Dalton is more likely to air it out than Josh McCown.

As a Gio owner you have to watch out for Jeremy Hill. He will pull touches from G.

Lovie is in full support of D Mart and the platoon talk down there was exaggerated.

I dunno man... Gio in a PPR format is pretty nice to have.

I'm not convinced Hill will have that much of an impact, I'll give it a few games before I start to worry too much. Gio will get touches, and he'll be used in the passing game a bunch.

Carolina D won't be NEAR as good as last year. They lost a ton of guys on their defense to FA. Luke Keuchley(,<--think thats how its spelled) is the one really good guy left. Having said that I still think its a coin flip. Martin probably gonna get more touches but Gio can always break a big one...

Good luck whoever you pick

I would go Gio on that one. He had 13 catches in 2 games against the Ravens last year as a backup. He should get double digit points just off of receiving. Doug Martin will be dependent on a touchdown to put up double digit points this week.

so much for carolina not being as good as last year.... Wow. nice game tampa, Lovie Smith. The fans must be excited after that!
