Is it the weather that is causing this? I have never had such a tough time not only finding fish but getting them to bite. I've tried del Clark, lady slipper, Tyson, wood lake, shetek, island, perch, mn river, school grove, sham and have only managed to pull up a few tiny crappies on wood lake... Just wondering if its the weather or me? Haha

It's the fish. They're hibernating until the ice is off the lakes. smile

It's been pretty slow for me also. I've tried Lime, Shetek, Bloody, Fox (the one by Bloody), Okebena, and the Grahms.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong but it's been awful slow.

I feel everyones pain too. It has been slow for me also. When the bite is fast it is always little ones. Maybe if we can get a week of good solid weather instead of a 50 degree swing in 2 days that will help out with the fishing.

It's not just you. This is by far the worst year of ice fishing I've ever had. I've tried almost every lake in the area and still can't find any fish that want to bite.

Still the same story again,I found alot of fish the last two days, catching them has been a different story.Got a few yesterday, which wasnt many by the amount I marked on the flasher, and today went back thinking they have to bite better, well they bit worse. Some would fly rite up to your jig like they were gonna hammer it,then theyd stop and stare at it and go back down to the bottom, shake the jig a few times and theyd come rite back and stare again only to go back to the bottom..kind of irritateing, but still better then holding the couch down at home..

I tried Dead Coon Saturday and didn't even mark a fish. Like stated before, beats holding the couch down.

Don't know what you're all fishing for. But, I've been experiencing the same issues fishing for Pan fish. But, when I find em down size big time and the bite has been super light. Catching some nice gills, perch and crappies in area lakes. Small Gill Pills and 2 or 3 waxies or similar have been the ticket. Good luck.
