Looking to fish traverse on Friday wondering how the reports are?

Reports down that far tend to be pretty sparse in here. I don't have any intel for you, but I wish you good luck!

I'm looking for some info, too.

I'll be there Friday night through Sunday evening this weekend.

Will be staying on the S.D. side, about halfway down the lake.

Thinking about circling the islands, trying to find some drop-offs and poke around the rock piles. Couple points along shore with weed beds should produce some northerns, I'm hoping. We'll also be heading to the north end near where the Mustinka meets Traverse. Nailed cats there this summer.

I'll be talking to my uncle, who fishes Traverse all the time this week. Anything I find out, I'll pass along here.

Edit: Seeing you were asking for last weekend. In any case, I'll pass along some info for people who might see this thread.

Anyone live around the Wheaton or Lake Traverse care to share if both Reservation and White Rock Dam will be open as in running water from the lake on opening weekend (April 19)? How is the lake after the weather hit 80 degrees on Wednesday? Do you think it will open up by next weekend? Anything will be good. Thanks.

I saw a report that as of yesterday Big Stone was 40% open. I haven't heard anything on Traverse but I am curious to know!
