I pulled up to a resort with a plow on my truck and got the riot act from the resort cause I had a plow on my truck. I was blown away by the way I was being treated. So I more or less bring my plow up so when it blows or snows I can clean my house out to get off the lake. He absolutely flipped a lid I showed up st 130 in the afternoon and they hadn't even plowed the road yet and is down to one trail there was not one spot plowed for wheel houses.. non the less I will never come here again and neither will any of my buddies that have houses.. I just didn't get it I meant no disrespect honestly I left my plow next to red lake for I used it on lotw if I didnt have it lastweek would never got out of my spot.. sorry for my rant wounder if anyone else exsperance this on red cause I was at Rodgers two weeks ago and they were great just wanted to try a different place

Doesn't sound good.

I would try to keep in mind though that stress levels are probably very high on some of these guys with all of the snow, cold, flooding, poor ice, and anxious customers. Checkbooks maybe getting a little thin as well. He may have thought (without thinking) that you were going to go out and plow some random road off his road. And then some other unsuspecting customer might drive down your road and go down somewhere on some poor ice. That would not be good for business. Who knows.

At the same time I have seen guys with plows make a lot more work for the ones that do the roads. You would almost have a better chance with their wives than to mess with their road. Agree that it could have been handled better though.

It is  pretty shiny piece of equipment. I was able to purchase it on my scab job wages 😆 I don't think I'll update the electronics any time soon, 3 screens is enough?

Just another "Words matter"   Voting on school levy. This was posted on the School "education district" building door.  We had a nice cold walk all the way around the building! The arrow was added, after we educated them! 😒

Obviously this is more of a hot topic due to forward facing sonar. With that being said, I know people who have pulled crappies out of basins 40+ deep since the fl-8 and zercom flashers came out. That's over 30 years ago. I do think there's a push to ban these in MN and I could see them doing it here. They'll have to pay my livescope from my cold dead hands 😆 on days I can't catch a walleye jigging or rigging it's nice to turn it on and throw corks at individual fish

It wasn't just you, I was fishing west of you about an hour on Monday. Fished 8am-4pm, no fish, two keeper walleye and one small one from 4pm-630pm. Marked a lot of fish, they would come up to a jig and swim away. They were skittish to the dead stick too

I wonder like divers, if we let them decompress every 10' for 1/2hr. If that would help?  🤔  It would slow the bite down a bit!  🤭
