No chatter about the playoffs?

I like Carolina in the NFC and chiefs in the AFC. Denver and Seattle will be hard to beat, but have shown they can be. Bengals may have an opportunoty , but are a very beatable team on the road.

San Diego vs. New Orleans in a freezing snow storm would make for the most ideal super bowl matchup wink

Playoffs? You're talking about Playoffs?

Posted

gotta wonder what weather will be at super bowl. I'm going with the home teams in afc this wildcard weekend and away teams in nfc.

will be cheering for Carolina and kc. Think Carolina has a shot but don't expect much from kc. If I had to pick for superbowl, would have to go with the top seeds both making it although wouldn't be surprised to see 49ers make it and the nfc team winning it all.

I will take:

Philly over New Orleans

Ind over KC

Cincy over SD

San Fran over GB (will be cheering for the champ)

looks like the colts didn't show up yet.

Colts are starting to make things interesting at least....

Just late to the party, I guess. Looks like they're making a game of it.

Making a game of it they did.

K.C. must be feeling sick.

Luck looked very impressive to be able to come back from those picks.

Posted

iffin I where Kansas city....I'd go hide. coulda been the vikes there. yea indy had an great comeback.

pretty good saints and eagles game right now!!

Posted

Yeah KC had some clock/play management issues there. Lots of timeouts and some general indecision in plays. Much of what Reid has been criticized for at philly.

Luck is a stud. Made some mistakes but man the second half was unreal.

Posted

Really sad to see the Saints win last night. I would love to see those crooks have to go up to Green Bay to play for the NFC title, but I dont think the Champ has enough help for that, and I dont think the taints can make it out of Seattle. NFC title game should be in Seattle this year.

Legion of BOOM will own the Taints.

Legion of BOOM will own the Taints.

Exactly and I will enjoy watching it.

Since I am leaving I better pick now.

Give me:

SF over Carolina

Sea over New Orleans

New England over Colts

Denver over SD.

Posted

I went 0-4 with my picks last week, but this week I like all the home teams except Denver.

Posted

SF over Carolina- I dont think Carolina is ready for this type of game

New Orleans over Seattle- I cant bet against Sean Payton. One of the best, if not the best game planners in the league. Pete Carroll will be out coached.

Indy over New England- Toughest one to pick, Pats D is riddled with injuries, too much Luck.

Denver over SD- Manning is god

I'll pick SF, Seattle, Denver and New England.....unless they let Andrew Luck go like they did in the 2nd half last week.

Then we see a Seattle - Denver Superbowl and Seattle finally wins their 1st being they got robbed by the refs who handed it to the Stealers in their last appearance in the SB

Seattle, Denver, Indianapolis, an San Fran all come out victorious...

Carolina and NO in NFC

Nailed it. Couple of us did. Glad to see NO got beat. Carolina too.

I am going to take:

Tom Brady over Peyton Manning next weekend

and

49ers to beat Seattle.

NFL wanted to have another Manning v Brady battle, and now they have another 10 year battle possibly brewing with Kapernick v Wilson.

Two old farts in the AFC and two young guns in the NFC.

Pats and Hawks in the Super Bowl.

Pats and Hawks in the Super Bowl.

+1

I've been feeling sympathy for the Pats (whom I don't like) all year. I'm now convinced Belichick & crew can make one-legged tables stand level.

Like him or hate him, belichick flat out knows how to find weaknesses in the opponent and capitalize. It's Brady and a bunch of no names and yet there they are at in the conference championship game just like most every year.

It is  pretty shiny piece of equipment. I was able to purchase it on my scab job wages 😆 I don't think I'll update the electronics any time soon, 3 screens is enough?
    • smurfy
🤣 not near as shiny and spendy as that livescope toy. Thats kinda like bling ain't it? besides i'm on a paultry union pension  🫣
    • Kettle
I mean to catch pike you just need a shiny object...

Just another "Words matter"   Voting on school levy. This was posted on the School "education district" building door.  We had a nice cold walk all the way around the building! The arrow was added, after we educated them! 😒

      Nope!  But it’s more funner!

I don't need no livescope to catch fish....🤔🤪  It's all in how ya wiggle the worm!😜 Just sayin  🤣

Obviously this is more of a hot topic due to forward facing sonar. With that being said, I know people who have pulled crappies out of basins 40+ deep since the fl-8 and zercom flashers came out. That's over 30 years ago. I do think there's a push to ban these in MN and I could see them doing it here. They'll have to pay my livescope from my cold dead hands 😆 on days I can't catch a walleye jigging or rigging it's nice to turn it on and throw corks at individual fish

It wasn't just you, I was fishing west of you about an hour on Monday. Fished 8am-4pm, no fish, two keeper walleye and one small one from 4pm-630pm. Marked a lot of fish, they would come up to a jig and swim away. They were skittish to the dead stick too

I wonder like divers, if we let them decompress every 10' for 1/2hr. If that would help?  🤔  It would slow the bite down a bit!  🤭
