Were you using a hose with a regulator?

Was it a big buddy or little buddy? Just curious! Hey holmsvc, does your hose have a regulator? I have a six foot hose without one!

If you take it apart,I am betting that the copper line running into the top of the orifice has cracked or busted off. Mine did the same thing a few years back.

to add to this, I have heard that a filter is absolutely necessary with these heaters when being used with a bulk tank or else the valves will get dirty and stick closed, or much worse, open. I know the new big buddy heaters now have a filter built in but 4-5 years old I don't think they do. lucky no one was hurt.
