Was out this weekend out of Ballards. We did OK. Great if you were going for pout (15+) For 2 people, we caught 3 sauger short of our limit, so 25 keepers - nothing over 15 inches for 2 days. The rosy reds did pretty good - about as good as the emerald shiners. The resort supplied us with shiners, if we had known that, we wouldn't have stopped at Lucky's to get them. Nice supply, but they counted them out. They said the fish were scattered. Some houses had 2 fish, the next one over had 22 - that's fishing!! How did everyone else do?

I fished in front of Morris Point in 22 ft on Friday and could hardly keep them off the hook on Friday. It was a blast, but nothing big. <P>Saturday and today were really slow. There were VERY few agressive fish. The would come take a good hard look but seldome hit. Then if they did hit it was really light and they were pretty hard to hook.<P>Sure was sloppy out there today .
