gull rock or arnesons reef?

did anyone have any luck at either of these places today. im tryin to figure out a good spot to got for new years day.<P>Today we went out just past gull rock in about 24 feet and brought home 15 walleyes and saugers between the three of us.

I think either will be fine. You need to maybe go a little deeper...like 30' or so. But then again, i'm no expert!! Good luck

I was by arnesons reef on friday in about 35 ft of water and 2 of us got our limit of nice eaters.

A group of us got back from Arnesens yesterday. We stayed in one of their sleepers. The sleeper was in 28 ft. over mud. They are unable to put there sleepers out around Gull rock or 12 mile because of ice thickness. We had a great time and fishing was good. Was able to keep 52 eaters ranging from 14-19 inches. Talked with a group that was portable around gull rock in 31ft of water and they said they only caught little ones, with very few eaters. Good luck to all.
