Question

I know this is a little out the the ice fishing realm, nut thought I would try. I have a zip disk with information I would like to put on a cd. Check with most of the stores in the area, and they do not do it or want 35 - 40 dollars to do it. Is there any one in the duluth area that has both that would consider doing it for a fee?

thanks

I'm in Brainerd, but I could do it. You could send me the ZIP and I will burn the contents to a CD for you and send it back.

I'm using a Mac and they could care less if it a WIN or MAC zip....

Email me if interested.

opsirc, If I had a zip drive I'd help ya out. What you could do is buy a CB burner for 20 bucks after rebates. I could help you out on installing it.

ST is right, a CD burner is the way to go. The are about the best way to store large amounts of data today. The price on both the CD burner and the CDs themeselves are cheap and easy to come by.

Ok, I thought you had a zip drive. I'll check around.

Sam:

I also have a zip and a cd burner (for Mac) at work, so I could help you out if you can't find anyone closer.

I would definitely take advantage of local help, but you might want to check with a local Kinko store, they usually have all these drives, and will be able to switch media with no problem. It shouldn't be too expensive.
