I'm not worried yet. Running the ball is looking bright. I wish that one tight end would get hurt and I won't say the name...

Hope you're not talking about the one that came up big at the end and got 8 mil into him this year....??

Running game is looking good, better than i have seen in awhile.

I'm not impressed with boykin....yet.

Bring Driver back into the fold... Clutch hands for timely slants and end zone passes. Only need to pay him by the game... Could bridge us till Cobb is back up and running.

Good luck!

Cobb will be out for the year...explosive players need more time coming off injury and a broken leg will set him back to the point of "why even bring him back this year".

I thought this was the kind of play the NFL wants to see from its defensive backs moving forward. "Go low", or get fined. This is what happens when a stupid rule like this finally starts to rear its ugly head...players careers may be over but at least they didn't get concussed.

Packers look good when they can run the ball and protect Rodgers. They will go far this year. Even my least favorite player got hurt finally...

How are the Packers possibly winning without Greg Jennings, Cobb and Driver??? Oh that's right, I forget sometimes that its not the guy catching the ball that is important, but the guy throwing the ball. I hope Packers win it all. I see they have some no name at LT. I cant wait until he owns $20 million dollars a year Jared Allen one on one the entire game with Lacey running the ball right at him.

And had a td and how many catches prior to that? Why would you want him hurt? Just cause you dont like him? He compliments the whole passing game.

Brett Favre is my idle. I can't stand guys that don't block and drop passes and fumble. He is no Mark C. So don't compare them. Finley has had 2500 yards in 5 years or so? That's 500 yards a year and he can't block and drops easy catches and can't go up the middle. He sucks

Chewy? Lol.

70 games and 2 fumbles. Ya, thats bad. Granted he has had some drops, but so has jones. the guy is doing well this year and you hope he gets hurt? Pretty sure I saw him pancake paul krueger twice today. Fin cant block...he hasnt helped us win games this year...he sucks

It could be worse. You guys could be Vikings fans like me. I will trade you AP, Kyle Rudolph, Jared ALlen and Josh Freeman for Aaron Rodgers.

That'd be perfect... Then Jennings would have something to complain about again!

You got your wish, but I think that's a despicable way to view sports.

If the guy isn't as good as you want, that's fine. Rooting for somebody to get injured is low in my book. The worst trait of Finley is that he's talkative, which is much better than many guys in the league. It's not his fault that you had higher expectations for him...and for that you cheered for his injury. SMH

I didn't want him to get hurt bad. Just enough to not play. Haha I'm sorry that was pretty bad to say about someone...

Umm yeah buck.... They are winning because theyve held their opponents under 20 points for the last two games. Ya know, playing defense. And they are running the ball well too. Rogers isnt exactly putting up video game #'s like Peyton Manning. He's doing enough to win but its not all him.

We get it, the vikes need a QB. Hopefully Freeman is the guy. They need defense just as much, thats pretty obvious

Not yesterday the week before? I thought Crosby had a ridiculous number of field goals. My I lost interest quickly

Against the Browns which was last week.

Nelson had 5 receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown.

Finley had 5 receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Against the Ravens it was a long Nelson touchdown and Mason Crosby.

It's great to see how, just like in 2010, the Packers are utilizing their depth to carry forward. To win using 2nd string, 3rd string, and practice squad players is extraordinary. We are down four of our top LBs including three starters (CM3, Perry, Jones, Francois), down three of our top receivers when you include Finley (Cobb, Jones), down our starting left tackle (Bulaga), down two our top three RBs (Harris and Starks), and down one of our top CBs (Heyward). That doesn't even mention missing our top safety for the first part of the season.

Lattimore is playing pretty great. Mike Neal (partially injured), Palmer, and Mulumba are filling in well at OLB. Bahktiari is already a stud at left tackle. Boykins just had one heck of a game at WR. Miles White looked decent in his first ever game. Lacy is a beast at RB and Franklin is getting his sea legs. Davon House just had a great game at CB and Tramon Williams, while not a backup, is regaining his old form.

Pretty outstanding work by the GM to have enough plugs for the extreme number of holes in our starting roster. There is rarely a team that can do the same and succeed.

Didn't Rodgers and that vaunted offense fail to score a touchdown last week?
Trolling, eh musky head?

Yes, down several of their starters the Packers struggled against the DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS and their perennially good defense. Rest assured, we still won the game regardless of stats.

Thanks for playing.

I can say I hope that the rope to Stark's dock is cut at the end of the season. Enough of him already! Always hurt... decides to go 100% now that we have two maybe three backs ahead of him...

But it is nice to know that 'next man up' is alive and well in Green Bay.

Good Luck!

Ken

So, that was you in the camo lund? I'm bummed, I have to head back to the cities tomorrow for a few days, then back up for at least a few weeks. Got the dock in and fired up to get out chasing some crappies till opener!

On the south end...   Lots of ice on the main basin, but it is definitely deteriorating.  Some anglers have been fishing the open water at the mouth of the Rainy River in front of the Lighthouse Gap.  The rest of the basin is still iced over. Pike enthusiasts caught some big pike earlier last week tip up fishing in pre-spawn areas adjacent to traditional spawning areas.  8 - 14' of water using tip ups with live suckers or dead bait such as smelt and herring has been the ticket.  Ice fishing for all practical purposes is done for the year. The focus for the basin moving forward will be pike transitioning into back bays to spawn,  This is open water fishing and an opportunity available as the pike season is open year round on Lake of the Woods. The limit is 3 pike per day with one being able to be more than 40 inches. All fish 30 - 40 inches must be released. With both the ice fishing and spring fishing on the Rainy River being so good, many are looking forward to the MN Fishing Opener on Saturday, May 11th.  It should be epic. On the Rainy River...  An absolutely incredible week of walleye and sturgeon fishing on the Rain Rainy River.     Walleye anglers, as a rule, caught good numbers of fish and lots of big fish.  This spring was one for the books.   To follow that up, the sturgeon season is currently underway and although every day can be different, many boats have caught 30 - 40 sturgeon in a day!  We have heard of fish measuring into the low 70 inch range.  Lots in the 60 - 70 inch range as well.   The sturgeon season continues through May 15th and resumes again July 1st.   Oct 1 - April 23, Catch and Release April 24 - May 7, Harvest Season May 8 - May 15, Catch and Release May 16 - June 30, Sturgeon Fishing Closed July 1 - Sep 30, Harvest Season If you fish during the sturgeon harvest season and you want to keep a sturgeon, you must purchase a sturgeon tag for $5 prior to fishing.    One sturgeon per calendar year (45 - 50" inclusive, or over 75"). Most sturgeon anglers are either a glob of crawlers or a combo of crawlers and frozen emerald shiners on a sturgeon rig, which is an 18" leader with a 4/0 circle hook combined with a no roll sinker.  Local bait shops have all of the gear and bait. Up at the NW Angle...  Open water is continuing to expand in areas with current.  The sight of open water simply is wetting the pallet of those eager for the MN Fishing Opener on May 11th.   A few locals were on the ice this week, targeting pike.  Some big slimers were iced along with some muskies as well.  If you like fishing for predators, LOW is healthy!

Early bird gets the worm some say...   I have it on good authority that this very special angler caught no walleyes or muskies and that any panfish caught were released unharmed.
