auger replacement

I want to switch to a newer model auger bit. I have a old model 30 that runs great. I'm wondering if anyone has put a Stealth auger assembly on a mod. 30? I went to the website and the only one for sale for replacement looks like the same as they were 10 years ago. Seems the newer technology has got to be better!

jiffy stealth auger would work but they don't
sell it yet as a replacement. i bought the ripper blade for my old #30 cuts really good.
purchaced it from jiffy for about $32. + s&h.

yep they aren't sell just the bit yet. You can replace it with the ripper blade mentioned above and it will cut quicker.

Thanks guy's! That explains why it's not shown on their website yet. I thought it looked like a perfect match as far as how it joins together.
