any info on forest or wild fires, we just had a water droping plane pick up water on kitchi lake,2 times anybody have any info, i heard of a fire saturday from cass lake lumber, but cant find any info online, thanks

Hope they inspected it for AIS. I would hate to see them spread by some pilot swapping water from various lakes without proper decon after each drop.

good point, but i doubt if an invasive would get out of the hold tank of a plane when it is taking on water at over 120 mph, but if you think it can transfer from the bottom of the plane body, then i guess it will be hard to prevent spread,after all ducks move from lake to lake, thanks

We haven't heard of anything like that. Wow, did you see on the news about the ice shove on Lake Mill Lacs, saw that on the news that was pretty wild!
