I want to get my lab on some more birds this spring and last year no game farm had any pheasants. Anybody hear of the same thing this year or is it better?

There should be plenty of birds for you. I was at a farm a couple of weeks ago and they still had birds.

Both of the hunt clubs that I frequent had specials offering reduced price pheasants due to having too many on hand.

Thanks for the info, guys.

Last year the farms had no pheasants so I purchased chukars. Good eating and they held tight for my young dog

Last year was a warmer winter and most of the Hunting Clubs had extended seasons because of it...going through a lot more pheasants. This year not so much and more pheasant farms over produced a bit this year because of the demand the previous year.
