padding for bunks/seats

blue_healer_guy

Question

What are you guys using? Tried those eggshell type padding and didn't like it. Just using plwood for the bunk, need a pad to go over that and then some fabric to go over the top.

Look in the yellow pages for a packing company and see if they have the stuff that's in a lot of the bleacher seats and turkey hunting seats.

I used 4 inch foam padding with a vinyl covering stapled around a 1/2" plywood. Got my stuff at one of those places like an army surplus store. Very comfortable to sleep on.

EOTL is right on the money. If you don't like vinyl for a covering, get canvas. If you don't like to sew, buy a fanny pad like you can get for football stadium seats or the insulating camo pad for bowhunters and plop it down on the board. Simple is best.

Keep it warm, keep it interested. grin.gif

I went to jo anne fabrics and bought my cusions the stuff is way more expensive than i thought it would be. had my sister in law sew some covers , she put a velcro strip across the back so the covers can be taken off and washed. works pretty good i think i got like 2 in. high density foam thicker wouldnt hurt though.

They aren't real cheap but you might try one of the self inflating sleeping pads you use for putting under your sleeping bag. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the replys guys. I'm going to go check an army surplus store near me and see what they have. I know what you mean about being more expensive than a guy would think, also went to joann fabrics. Dave I will take you up on that offer if I can't find anything. Thanks again, Joe

I used a single ply roofing material and used a 2x4 frame it works good and folds up nice out of the way

Bunks are done. Tried the army surplus store and owner said they couldn't sell used padding. Went to a fabric store and got some clearance fabric and then went to a carpet place and got 2x the amount of high density carpet padding. Put 2 layers of pad, cover and stapled the fabric and it turned out pretty decent. About 30 bucks for it all.

I was going to recommend a course grain Styrofoam core/base with heavy carpet padding stapled around it. Then cover it with whatever turns you on. Like leopard skin prints or SpongeBob SquarePants fabric...whatever.

Styrofoam reflects heat very nicely, resists moisture, light weight, and is durable, great for bench seats.

I did an old style Fish Trap this way and it was very comfortable and warm to sit on.

In addition to to Feichao, you can also consider the DJI Mini SE. This is also an excellent piece. However, always try to read articles and thorough reviews before buying.

Mini drones like Feichao Mini Drone Quadcopter M9 are good to take footage.

My grandmother is a very old person, and she has had a real estate company for 20 years now, she has dedicated her whole life to it, so she does not understand much about technology and is looking to modernize her business, she is one of the few real estate companies that They don't have their own application, so I see myself in charge of finding a good software developer for real estate and that type of business. Do you know any professional or company that is dedicated to it?

Don't forget about IP Lures just west of town about 2 miles on the south side of Co. 82.    I was out on Osakis last week for a couple hours. Picked up two walleyes, one about 13" and the other a fat 14-1/2". Also a couple northerns and a handful of perch.

Of course, you shouldn’t even ask about this, because this is the responsibility of the executor of the order, that is, the employee who will create such an application. I think it will be stated in the contract of employment if there is one and then you don't have to ask for anything.

Shallow. Got skunked tonight. Just got chased off by the weather. Last evening was the only time the last 4 times out I caught fish. Last even was light drizzle and calm water. Water warmed up about 3-1/2 degrees since the first time out.

It is very important not only to identify mushrooms by their appearance but also to understand whether it is useful or not, because now there are many poisonous mushrooms, and it is extremely important that no mistakes were made in the selection of such mushrooms. That's why I here https://www.mushrooms.online/mushroom-poisoning/ read a lot of interesting information about poisonous mushrooms and was able to understand more about it. I hope that I was able to help you and was really helpful to learn.
