Spring Lake Who's Ready?

Recommended Posts

Lawrence Luoma

I'm pretty excited for the 2nd UPL event of the year. Can't wait to see all the teams on the ice again. Anyone, wondering about the UPL and Ice fishing contests come out and watch the weigh-in. Michael and I will share our tips on how we caught fish that day. We'll even show you how to fine tune you Vexilar and how we use our other Clam products. So after the weight-in just come up a introduce yourself and lets talk ice fishing.

I've been out there a couple times now and I'll be out there again tomorrow for a few hours. From what I've been seeing, weigh-in should be interesting.

See ya Sunday!

Honestly, that narrows it down quiet a bit. There's only so many points by a sand bar. 😄

Be careful out there on the ice, we don't need any casualties..... Make sure it's safe..

That is if the snow holds off

Is that the one point with a cabin on it, or the one with the Oak tree?  😏

Okay my secret.spot is off that point by the sandbar where I set up.  Really good spot on the chain    Don

How's the performance of the lithium in the cold?

I wasn't looking for exact locations, just ideas.     I guess I don't understand the whole secrete spots thing.  I don't mind telling anyone exactly where, what and when I was fishing if I was successful.  Again, I'm not looking for that, just general ideas.  I know the lake well enough to find fish. But, I just recently, last winter, starting fishing it during winter.  I've mainly done C&R catfish, because, lets be honest they're a lot more fun to catch then walleye.

Paul has always done things the right way.   I'm looking forward to seeing what he does at Bug Be Resort.   Another great option is Artie's Bait and Tackle or Schmidt's Landing on Big Stone lake.  Walleyes, jumbo perch, tanker gills and slab crappies are all good options there.
