The jerseys and helmets are ok, the pants, not so much. The full purple makes them look like Barney.

As much as it pains me to say it I agree with LMIT. The numbers are horrible.

I don't mind the purple pants I just don't like them with the purple jersey. The purple on purple makes them look like Barney on roids.

The only thing I like about the uniforms ARE the numbers. They are great. The flat paint on the helmet looks like they paid some kindergartners to paint them. Like they are not finished. When I heard Nike was designing them, I knew there was a good chance I wouldn't like them. Trying to make the Vikings the Oregon Ducks of the NFL. Nope, don't like it. Don't like it t'all.

I'll try again. You're a poor judge of purple saturation. Is that better? I just think they're considerably darker and I like what they have done, a lot.

Not all I was expecting but an improvement over the most recent uniforms. Still like it best when they throwback to the '90s uniforms.

Holy cow these uniforms are terrible. Not only do the numbers stink, but the purple of the helmet and jerseys don't even match. Minor gripe? Maybe. But this isn't pee-wee football.

The uniforms look like they've been in the washer since they were unveiled. Faded and worn out looking.

Pretty funny how things change. When they were released and I said the tony sucked and the new uni's were terrible I got hammered by a lot of fans who bought into the hype. I was told that market research indicated fans from all teams liked the font and jersey as well as the helmet but once people actually get to see what an abomination they are they finally see what I said all along.

Whoever was on the team that designed, prototyped and signed off on this should be fired, tarred and feathered.

They are UGLY the uni's don't match the helmet which is just dumb And the Matte helmets just don't meld with me............and the new numbers stink......well on the plus side at least the color pattern isn't green and yellow.....

Only thing I thought was odd about the new uniforms is the obvious intentional beefing up of the helmets this year to protect from head injury.

The new helmets, even on the really big guys, make them all look like Star Wars Storm Troopers. Grossly disproportionate! Reminds me of that Rick Moranis line in Space Balls. "I see your Shwartz is as big as mine!"

IMO anybody caught up with just how perfectly the helmet matches the Jersey is channeling their inner 'Queer eye for the strait guy'. Who cares.

I like the jerseys- they have the throwback look.

The helmets actually match the jerseys pretty closely in person. The reason they look off is an effect of the television broadcast. I've heard that this should improve during the regular season. Even if you go back and watch the replays and rebroadcasts you'll notice a big improvement.
