Drivable Ice Pine Island (Big Rigs)????

Heading up to Wheelers Point day after Christmas. Anyone know how much ice is around Pine Island?<P>Thanks for the help.

I will be heading up there on the same day..I called aderains and she said the about 75% of the people are driveing out now..allthough they are not chargeing yet for accsess..she said we should be ok by then..Ill be on ch.82 on marine<BR>and 7/11 on frs..give me a call sometime and have a beer or a bloody marry.<BR> good luck.<BR> DaveO<P><BR>

I got home from up there last night and people were driving everywhere with big rigs. Our house was 50 yards from the road and the ice would wobble a bit when people would go by, but the ice seems really good. I wouldn't worry about driving around out there. Just don't wear your seatbelt.

Thanks for the replies guys. After seeing some trucks drop through the ice on Buffalo Lake on Saturday I think I will be bring up a four wheeler just in case.<P>Daveo I don't have a marine radio so I will just have to catch you on the ice.<BR>Yellow wheeler and a blue clam.<P>Good Luck.
