trapping leeches

It is best done in the spring.

We used to take a three pound coffee can and fill half full with meat scraps. Smash the can opening down to about a half inch opening to keep the meat in and the turtles out. Tie a cord to the can and throw it out into the slough that you have chosen.

Check the trap the next morning, preferable before sunup. If your pond has leeches, they should be there.

How do you choose the type of water that will hold leeches. Any pond? Small Lake? Im in St. Paul. good idea for next year. Are they usually small? How do you get the jumbos?

Likely leech ponds will be the kind that do not sustain fish populations. Some are better than others.

The leeches will come in all sizes. It helps to have seperate containers to sort them in as you take them out of the trap.

Again, my best catches would be in early spring, and tail off toward mid-June.

We used to use an old metal minnow bucket - the kind with a hinged lid and a million holes in the side. Just put in a pike carcass and check in the morning. Apparently, the leeches go in through the holes, but don't go out. Sometimes we'd get 4-5 dozen in one minnow bucket.

Laying in a muddy pond for an hour hour two will probably catch you some leeches. grin.gif Have your friends pluck them off with salt, tweezers, and hot match heads! As far as feeding them? Stick your arm in the pail until your skin turns slightly ashen and your eyes start to cross. This also has some medicinal value...according to Theodoric of York, Medieval Barber! shocked.gif

It is strange that the developers did not think of such a nuance. In any case, you need to place an ad on the labor exchange, where you will find employees for the company and they will work with you, only you will need to conduct a preliminary interview

Creating an application for such a hotel would be the best option. Place your ad on the job exchange on the Internet, I know a few of these, then you can find developers for yourself and the work will go much easier

You won’t have to search for a long time, rather you will need to choose from the options offered. Look on the Internet for all the available options, such developers usually have their own sites that have all the information you need

I am sure that if you search in the google search engine you will find a company that is dedicated to that, but to be honest I have not much idea, I never planted the idea of something like that, from my ignorance it is very complicated, but maybe someone who have more notion of it can guide you and can even recommend a company with a good reputation that is dedicated exclusively to it, good luck with all that

Haven't really targeted geese, think we've got 3 Ross geese a blue goose and one Canada goose. We focus more on ducks, especially when we can get them in the field. Greater and lesser Canada geese around but they are spread out tons of feeds but no large feeds

Finally got the choirs done. Roofed a shed and built a woodshed. Most done by myself. Now's time to go fishing before the deer season.  Found some crappies tonight, caught 11, missed at least that many. West end. Skunked again, how'd you do, saw you heading out?
