I call my dad to tell him how my hunting went today and he told me that he was out on White Bear lake off Bellaire Beach and picked up 75 cans. Thanks for giving ice fishermen-women a bad name you people are very special.

rwk - I was out Friday the 28th with my son and picked up cans the whole walk out to our spot. I had seem previous posts about litter, but could not believe other fisherman do this so easily! At least there are a few of us that pass this along...

Every year and every lake that gets fished seems to get the garbage. I have gotten all the garbage I have found off the ice as every ice fisherman should do. No big deal on my end of it. If I were to get mad it would only eat into my enjoyment.

As a kid was able to fish a private beach on Cedar Lake on the South end. Used to ride our bikes to the lake and fished on a private beach for close to 10 years. More and more people fished there over the years and one Winter the trash really piled up. The next Spring nobody was allowed there.

One person ended up ruining it for many...

Hey just an fyi -some guy tried to break into my icehouse last night out on White Bear. I am just out from Bellaire and was out until about 10:30 last night, went out today around 5:00 and noticed someone had tried to pry open the lock. This is the second time this has happended this year (I had to replace the lock once already), luckily they havent gotten in. Its probably the same idiots who are littering all over the place...Plase keep an eye out if you notice anyone snooping around late out there...apparently the Ramsey County sherriff does ramdon patrols out there, but give them a call if you see something - Thanks!
