Great Trip with River Bend Resort

My wife an I spent our new year with River Bend Resort in a sleeper house. We were placed in a nice comfy sleeper house in 28 fow and instantly found ouselves occupied pulling fish in. We ended up letting go some good keepers on our first day but still managed a good bucket of fish.We were able to catch the second helf of the Vikes game at the bar that was packed as a bonus.

The bite slowed some each day as the cold front was passing but still managed to keep close to our limit of 13+ walleyes and saugers. Kim and I still managed to catch about 60 fish thruought 2 days and 2 nights on the lake.

By far the best par of our trip was the hospitality and the food provided bt the people at River Bend. Our first experinece with them was during the ice off last spring as we were chasing the ice off the river. They were able to provide us with a great price to camp as well as a great spot on their dock. As many know, keeping your boat onthe water during the spring run is a HUGE advantage.

I know that many already know that they have very good food there but I can certainly confirm that. I actually talk to alot of people that come from other resorts to either hang out at the bar or have their breakfast or dinner. I am not affiliated with them, I just feel that they deserve the recognition.

Good to hear that your trip was good thanks for posting. Food is always good there, we ate several meals there sat week. Gordie keeps things interesting at the bar as well
