Nice fish there guys.

Guy with the mask must belong to the Walleye Mafia?

Thats the infamous heave jumper, he may be sighted on this forum in the future holding slobs

28 7/8ths

27" or less held out from body. If the big fish on creeper is the " 30"er"

It makes the others look like slot fish.

The other fish look like they are inside the slot. If they are from Red. If the big fish on creeper is the " 30"er"

It makes the others look like slot fish.

Might explain the mask.

That's a better pic. I can see 30" for sure.

But is it the first fish on the creeper? Probably not otherwise them perch would be 15"+

I've heard of the infamous walleye mafia. I think it was on gangland? Pretty scary bunch! wink

Just the HeaveJumper, no mafia wink

Correct, the first pic is NOT the same fish, I think that was a 24. The first one on the creeper wasn't any bigger than 19.25 as ALL fish over 19.25 were released, including the 40" pike grin

The fish was measured correctly. It was massive! Weighed in at almost 10lbs. I knew before it was posted it would get criticized. If you don't have something intelligent to say then keep in to yourself.

Its just great to know Red can produce some pigs. The slot is surely working!

+1 on smartalec comments.

There is some video footage as well, but won't be able to post as the language content isn't appropriate. Let's just say the catch had the group worked up and excited just a bit.

The catfish guys have a bump board or ruler in the boat and take pictures of the fish on the board or ruler. Then you will not have the smart comments. So get a bump board or ruler lay the fish down take picture. All the pros on hso long arm all the fish so you cant tell the real size. I have grandmas sewing ruler folds up real nice for when i need it.

Said hog is still swimming and eating whatever it wants in red lake. My buddy is thinking about a replica and checking on prices.

The second pic was taken from my phone and shows the fish a little better then the first. There is no such "long arming" going on. Notice the aircraft carrier like rudder of a tail fin. She was a beast! Frankly, i dont care if anyone believes it... I know where we will be setting up for next years trip!

Talked to Dean today and he saw the fish. Dean says it was 31 inches. Now,,,,did anyone see Chris Haley's 28 inch fish?? gringrin

My Dad has fished here his entire life and spent about 40 years delivering bait to LOW so he has seen some walleyes. The other day he said that he had the biggest walleye he has ever seen to the bottom of the hole 3 times before his line broke.
