Thursday and Friday Report with Kelly P

My two boys and several friends booked the 6 man from Kelly and Jonny P for Thursday and Friday nights. Made the long journey trying to keep expectations low or at least reasonable...trips are better that way. Headed out beyond the pressure ridges to Kelly's secret location, three houses for as far as we could see. The action was fairly steady...night bite was a little slow, but the fish were massive! We managaed about 75 walleyes for the two days...average size about 18", but meaty,like footballs...about 50 perch, most KEEPER size, and a few pike. We used a bit of everything, but during the day, GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE produced better than just staring at the bobbers. Kelly and Jonny, thanks again for a great trip. We were smilin' all 4+hours back home! I'll try to send pictures to post!

We were in one of johhny and kellys houses a couple hundred yards east of you Friday night with my wife, son and daughter. we had some great success also. We ended up with 24 walleyes caught. Of those, 6 were throwbacks that were to big. We actually had most of our success softly after dark. Many jumbo perch also. Thanks for another great trip, we will be back

The perch have been a nice surprise. I have been impressed with the up and coming perch population, a lot more in the 10"+ range then I have seen in years.
