I will be hitting Lake Bemidji or Turtle Lake tomorrow. Anyone have a starting point for me? Not looking for specific spots...just a target depth and maybe a general direction to head. Thanks in advance!

I know a few different groups of guys that have been doing very well on Lake Bemidji for Perch, Walleyes and even pout. Fishing the deep side of structure during the day and moving up shallower as the sun sets. Gravel to mud transitions were holding the most walleyes for them a few nights ago. Perch were very active for them in 28-30 FOW during the day. Good luck and let us know how you do!

I fished Bemidji today. I fished from 12'-30' on the basin side of structure. Didn't get any walleyes...they seem to be elusive for me in the winter. I moved a lot, trying different depths, looking for active fish. Finally found some cooperative perch in 24', they really turned on about 1:00 this afternoon. I ended the day with 10 nice perch for a meal. Found 11" of ice today.
