I just find it utterly depressing how dead this forum is. I love this area and vacation here for open water and ice fishing every year. Would love to see more posts and more pictures.

How about we get an ice conditions topic going here?

Agreed. I would definitely post more if I made it up there more often. As it stands now I only made it up to fish twice this year, was WAY too busy this summer. I may try to find some time and head up next week sometime though, if I do, and find any useful information I will surely post it up.

Just got back from the PR area...fishing seemed to be in the late January cycle already. Did manage a few crappies and one monster walleye. Has anyone ever fished shallow lake in the winter? Is there access or does the flowage make the access unsafe?
