Ice Thickness is 12-14"

I just got off the phone with a buddy who is fishing there now and he said that he's in 22' and the thickness is somewhere between 12-14". Plenty for a car or light truck but watch yourself with the big rigs. My friend and his brother took our 8x12 house by 4wheeler but saw a lot of full-size trucks driving around. And as far as fishing? Sounds like their catching the eaters,7 in the bucket.

Hey pickeral, I just talked to your buddy and he is in 28 feet of water. They now have 11 in the bucket. I will be on my way up there in less than an hour. I can't wait to get out to that fishhouse and crack my first ice fishing beer of the year. You can't get a FWI or anything can you (fishing while intoxicated). Thats probably going to be a law pretty soon. I will post a report on monday about all my fish stories.
