Bottom Line LCD fish locator display ??

Murdock

Question

Recently purchased a used boat with a 360 Bottom Line Tournement LCD. Was hoping it would display fish as a sonar arch but it seems it displays a fish symbol instead. Does anyone know if this unit can be changed or modified to display a sonar arch rather than a fish symbol? I love the unit, many more funtions than I will ever use. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.
Please remember to practice CPR.

Yes, you should be able to show either defining feature. Just play a bit with it using the main menu and scrolling down as viking605 says...it is in there.

One point of concern for you also....

BE certain to NOT allow the cable-connectors on the rear of the unit to turn while you connect the cables to it while removing/installing the unit!!

I had a Tournament Master SF3 unit that burned-out... I am thinking was due to the plastic nuts that retain the partially threaded "male" end connectors, loosened. Thus allowing the "male" connector to turn inside the unit, and also allowing the wiring inside to wrap-around inside. Causing a electrical-short. NOT GOOD! This unit was a 1998 vintage.

I am waiting for my new Tournament 4300 from Bottom Line now. They DO stand-by their product tho at Bottom Line.

I got this NEW 4300 unit for exchange of my old & "burned-out" SF3 unit and $150.

So, I am ok with that grin.gif

Good Luck with your Bottom Line unit Murdock! (I believe..if you look hard enough in the unit, you may also find a electronic game to play in there(?)

I had the same problem with my BottomLine unit, the nut turned and the contacts broke. Too sloppy a connection into the housing.

They vibrate loose WAY too easy! The second time it happened, I superglued the dam thing so it would not spin. If it mess's up again, it will hit the trash can, or a 5 pound sledge will hit it. I will not send it in again.

That's ANOTHER big reason I went to Vexilar, quality of product and they stand by their stuff, no YADA-YADA-YADA what if's, they just fix it, done deal....all better now...Go fish.

My tip for you is look at the new Vexilar color graph or the EDGE-2, both are top units and will hold up. If and when you ever do need service, they will be on your side..no BS. It will be fixed right the first time, and if it is in any way there quality that was an issue.......no charge.

We fished Thursday - Saturday. Couldn’t get any marks to bite on the west end so started east. Caught lots of 9-15” eyes on the mud side of the transition. Mostly crawlers for us on Thurs-Fri but bite changed to minnows on Saturday. Our rainbows ran small but had a few big chubs mixed in. Big chubs we’re best. No eyes on small suckers.  A jig and sucker or crawler on 9-14’ rocks got smallies going in several places. Rocky points coming off islands also produced smallies with tubes, deep jerkbaits and ned rigs on east end. Also landed a 45” ski on a crawler harness.

Hello. Another important factor to consider when looking for an writing service is the amount of work they can do. Hello. The first step is to read reviews written by customers. This way, you can determine if a service delivers on time and does not charge hidden fees. The paperwriter reviews should also state whether or not the company guarantees original work. Some of the most reliable review platforms include Trustpilot and SiteJabber. I also don’t really believe that you can earn online casinos. There you can play, put bets, win and more often lose money. In the casino for Norway, the same rules apply as for the rest of the casino. If you are lucky, you will win. But to earn money, it is unlikely.
