These two guys were caught last night on film. I'm hunting a farm that's 160 acres cameras all over and all my pics are coming from about 40 acres of pines surrounded by corn. I've gotten about 7 different bucks of all sizes on film, including a huge 8 pt. hopefully they come out in the daylight this weekend!

The combines in my area were really cranking last night, few less hideouts for them, the only large buck I've seen as of late walked out of the corn looked around a bit, then turned and went right back in. I've wondered a bit why I haven't seen much and that's why everything is corn this year in the area, doesn't make for easy truck window viewing, good luck and keep at em, they're there.

I had a few bucks taking turns sparring near my stand last weekend. Nothing big yet, but only a few more weeks and the big boys should be up on their feet more!

After seeing the title, I have to admit that this is NOT what I thought it was going to be about!

+1

But not bad. A little tickling of the antlers might not be bad thing this weekend.

7:30 this morning got a small 8 and fork or six sparring on video. Spike came through later. Still out here waiting on the big one.

I think buck activity is pretty late right now, other than the dumb little ones. Over the years I can't remember seeing a big one early in the season, but still keep trying. Bigger deer movement seems to pick up just in time for rifle season.
