How's the walleye fishing been?

Recommended Posts

I'm heading up on Thursday for a long weekend. Looking at the weather report not sure if I should leave the boat at home and just bring the clubs. How has the walleye fishing been on Gull(or any of the other area lakes)? With the predicted sunny and calm conditions does one have to go deep during the day? If so, what depths have been working. I'm assuming Redtails are the ticket? Thanks for the help.

There's a great bite going on Gull. We caught these where the wind was blowing in along the shoreline drop off. 22' to 24' seemed to be best. A fresh Redtail was the ticket. full-34526-24719-fallwalleyes22012.jpg

Fish early, head to the golf coarse and then back on the water for the evening. Sounds like the perfect weekend.
