Duck Opener Fishing Report...

Had a couple of clients out this morning from 8:30 to 12 and boy was it cold! Hit the access and saw 36 degrees on the truck, and the wind was howling... We ran 1/4oz. Lindy Jigs and the biggest rainbows we could find all day. Worked over a hump that topped out at 13' and was surrounded by 25' water for the first 3 hours and pulled a box full of fish, including a brute...

The bite slowed and we had the eaters boxed, so we moved off to a 26' bowl to look for some bigger fish and found 3 bites in the last hour, 2 were connected on, a 19" and a 20" and the day ended.

All in all an awesome day! I love the scattered fall trips to break up hunting season for a couple of hours...
