Walleye with roe already?

I picked up a nice eye in about 45 feet this weekend and she already had roe? I have never caught one with roe other then in winter?

I caught a walleye in July that kind of looked ill/not right. When I cleaned it it looked goofy in some way on the flesh and it still had whitish eggs still in it.

Where the eggs white or yellow/orange?

Caught one 2 weeks ago with roe. Usually get quite a few in the fall.
