Just as we were out of venison the kids came through. Kansas youth hunt already proved to be the best hunt of the year for my brother and me. His daughter and my son had a blast over 2.5 days. It might be worth having kids, just to take them hunting with you! full-16015-24338-kansas9_2012(33).jpg

Yes I think it would be worth having kids just for a hunt like that! I would rather go on a hunting trip where the kids shot all the game anyways. Awesome!

Very nice. Is the 22 the daughter is holding just for the pictures or can they use them down there? confused

Good eye Leech. She used a .243 to kill the deer but it was in the case behind the truck seat and the .22 was handy for the pictures. I doubt they are legal in KS, but we wouldn't use one if it were.

GREAT photos! I have a toddler and one more on the way, and I can't wait for them to be old enough to come out into the field and woods with me!

I know what you mean. My 3 yr old already has a duck call (which he blows constantly when he sees ducks fly over) and his own binocs which he uses to scan the fields out at my dads for deer.
