spincast reel

DTro

Question

I would like to buy my wife a quality spincast reel (oxymoron?). Now she is using some hunk-a-junk cast a country foot. (yeah I bought it for her). I would prefer her to use a spinning reel, but YOU tell her that. Any recommendations on a GOOD spincast reel. I'm thinking of either the daiwa goldcast, johnson century or the shakespeare synergy.

I would, besides the goldcast look into the abu garcia line of spincast reels. They have R/L retrieve, instant anti reverse an oscillating spool, and come in different sizes. Even a trigger spin. I have not much experience with these reels, however I got my first Abu-Garcia reel in 1990 and with minimum maintainace I have kept it in working order since. I have 8 Garcia reels and they all are built very well. I am even considering getting a 275 spincast for special situations.
Good luck!

We have had good luck with the Shakespeare 1801 and 1401( for ice fishing also) leaver action reels and if your wife gets used to them she is one step closer to a spinning reel wink.gif
good luck!

Abu Garcia Abumatics

Diawa Silvercast or Goldcast

If you can find an older Rhino with the metal body and rubber boot over the release button those are pretty nice. Simple, nothing to break, pretty much tangle free.

dtro,
My wife currently uses a Daiwa Goldcast, which she will not part with. In the past, she has had
1. Red Rhino-had problems with the drag but servicable if you are willing to keep it clean.
2. Abu Garcia (not sure which one but it was the most expensive) The Garcia was made well but a little large for her.
3. Shakespeare(sp?) Plastic. although my granddaughter loves this one.

I would like her to try the triggerspin this year. Any info on this reel would be appreciated.

In my experience, Diawa Goldcast is the ticket. I grew up using Johnson spincast reels, switched to open face when I left home. My dad still swears by spincast because of fewer line twist problems. All he uses are Diawa Goldcasts.

They have an excellent drag system and cast very well. They aren't cheap....but nothing good ever really is.

BW is not a designated Trout lake. The limit is the same as state which I think is 5 bows. Don't think there is a size limit either since they don't breed.

Rotes, Hi, I just joined this forum and these corner caps are just what I have been looking for. Is it possible at this late date to get a set of these made for my Lund? The only difference I can see is the color of the material. Would you be willing to make a set for me? Thanks, [email protected]

Any move requires time and effort, but if you turn to a moving company for help, then some of the problems will disappear immediately. Firstly, the guys from the moving services always take care of the client's property, pack and carefully transfer your things to the car. Secondly, when moving with movers, you do not have to worry about the road, they choose the fastest and safest way, as they have extensive experience in transportation.

Anybody know how much the lake temps have dropped?   Are people have the most success with minnows vs crawlers when fishing with live bait lately, or are crawlers still working?

I agree with the previous comment, you could save a lot of money by making your website first .. its design .. and then if you want to move .. but if you want, you can immediately ..-) look here: https://digitalsuits.co/hire-developers/hire-shopify-developers/

I think that even at the initial stage, you need to consult with specialists who have been working in this field for a long time .. and then you will really get the result .. otherwise you can spend a lot of time and in the end you will have to redo everything .. for example, look here: https://www.softformance.com/services/software-consulting-company/

The best solution in this situation is to create the software yourself, and then turn to testers who will check everything. Although, if you manage to develop software, then you will have the strength to test it yourself
