Boooooo!

Seabass77

Question

I brought my spools to GM last night to get em filled for the season. Got em home and went to rig a rod and line started springing off of the spool. I checked two more, same thing. Took em out back, casted a jig, sure enough, line twist, a big nest everywhere.

Over half of the spools were overfilled too.

Going back today for a refund or re-do but man, does that get my goat. From now on I'm just going to fill all my spools myself.

If you want something done right.. LMAO

I would complain less about overfill then underfill. You can always remove line till you are happy!~ Kinda hard to add line without a knot in the way!

I'm no expert, but my experience has been that all lines that I've wound or had spooled jump off if I try to use them right away. If I let the line settle to the spool, they're firn, even the 'pregnant' spools.

I have had line spooled on for me at a few places, years ago, and was very dissatisfied. I also got the line twist, and found that the line broke a lot, which doesnt happpen with the same line i get in smaller spools and put on myself. Some people may have good luck at the store, i dont know. I know that by doing it yourself, you will put the time and care to do it correctly.

About half of the spools were fireline, half sensation. I only saw problems with the sensation but did not check them all. Is line twist really an issue with fireline?

No there is no line twist with fireline. I fished all winter with it and I don't think that I broke off once all winter.

The easiest way to break in new mono before fishing is to buy some of those Yellow casting plugs, tie one on. And cast the night away in your front yard. You may get a few odd looks, but by the time your ready to fish with it, it will be nice and limp to cast with. And if spools are over-filled strip them down a notch and keep the extra for leader material.

The best way to respool is check for twist while you are respooling this is done by winding a little line on then drop your rod tip down and see if it twist. if it does flip the spool over and wind some more check it again I have found that you should start with the lable faced down. But each com. may be different.hope this helps

sometimes if I have that problem I will take the spool off the reel and run it under some warm tapwater and that helps things out.

Like someone here once posted. If you want to eliminate line twist, drop your line spool in a bucket of water while you load your reel it is supposed to right itself and load correctly. BTW doesn't the line twist every time you cast and reel in the line? also in case you didn't know, reeling against the drag will practically braid your mono. I heard this years ago, and for missourian reasons, tied on a sinker, turned my drag to almost freespool,
reeled about 30+ times lowered my rod tip and the line twisted into a quite tight loop. On spinning gear, while fighting a large fish, haul back on the rod then crank the tip back down, haul, crank down. I have had almost no line twist since using this menthod.

Sea Bass,

I had my spools filled at Fleet Farm they are running a .01/yard sale for ALL mono. Anyways I tested the sensation about a month ago and I was not happy at all with the line twist. My opinion is the line stinks. I went back to the standard XL. no problems. I was really happy with the service I got from the "Farm"! Well good luck

If your line seems twisted get in the boat and let it out with nothing on it the drag from the water will take it out...troll for a while and then cut the power and reel it in. If it twist then it's because you reel funny!!!

I think when you get line spun on those machines at the stores it stretches the mono, kinda pre-loads it, then when the tension is released it flies off the spool or twists. I spool my spinning reel put it on the rod and have the kid pull about have the line down the block and then reel it back with nothing on it. This has all but elimanated line twist.

Have a good one!

Sounds like the line was put on backwards to me.

When you're spooling your line they say to have the label face up on the floor. Make about 10 reels and then let some line off. If the line twists and pops off like a slinky, turn the spool over and fill your reel.

This works good, but what works better is to fill the reel, hop in your boat, and troll along at about 5 mph. Let your line out with nothing tied to it while dragging it in the water. The friction of the water will untwist your line and when you spool it back up it will be perfect.

This works good for me.

At any rate, good luck and good fishing.

I think property management is more about communication than real estate as it requires regular interaction with property owners, tenants and staff. To create a base of loyal customers and ensure future growth in a competitive market, I recommend ordering the development of a mobile application fromhttps://djangostars.com/industries/proptech-real-estate/. Because managing a large real estate company that has been on the market for over 20 years can be a headache if you don't have the right software to manage it.

Buying and selling, renting residential areas include many long-term labor-intensive processes. It is easy to optimize, speed up these operations - it is enough to order the creation of a mobile application for real estate.

This is the right decision, because such software will allow her to work less and more conveniently. Therefore, find its own developers. In your city, if it is large, you can find such a team, if not, then on the Internet

don't know what roulette is? Hi. Roulette as I think is a very cool game. Roulette has been played since the nineteenth century and every self-respecting casino, including online casinos, be sure to have it in their assortment https://aolbroadband.in/ .Games for free, which the guys provide on this site, of course, include the most popular varieties of roulette: American, European and French. The online version of roulette is no different from the well-known one from land-based casinos: it features a green table with marked numbers and betting fields, as well as a wheel with numbered cells on which the ball rotates. On this site you can learn more and even play it

In addition to to Feichao, you can also consider the DJI Mini SE. This is also an excellent piece. However, always try to read articles and thorough reviews before buying.

My grandmother is a very old person, and she has had a real estate company for 20 years now, she has dedicated her whole life to it, so she does not understand much about technology and is looking to modernize her business, she is one of the few real estate companies that They don't have their own application, so I see myself in charge of finding a good software developer for real estate and that type of business. Do you know any professional or company that is dedicated to it?

Don't forget about IP Lures just west of town about 2 miles on the south side of Co. 82.    I was out on Osakis last week for a couple hours. Picked up two walleyes, one about 13" and the other a fat 14-1/2". Also a couple northerns and a handful of perch.

Of course, you shouldn’t even ask about this, because this is the responsibility of the executor of the order, that is, the employee who will create such an application. I think it will be stated in the contract of employment if there is one and then you don't have to ask for anything.
