Long Lake - hubbard county

Recommended Posts

Going to be up to our cabin near huntersville the week of 4th of July and plan on bringing a couple nefews and also my ol man to Long. I have fished it before and had some luck. Always catch a lot of pike but not always able to find the walleyes - a few here and there. I'm looking to get on some fish for my nefews, can anyone point me in the right direction on what to use? It will be an afternoon outing. I'm hearing lindys and slow death hooks on our lake and lakes nearby? I usually launch on the north end and work that sunken road when I do fish it. I dont need GPS cords, or a certain spot. Just want an idea of where to go so I'm a solid guide for the youngins to put a few fish in the boat. What depth etc. Heck. I wouldnt mind getting on a few stacks of pannies too - just something so we can have a good outing! Thanks!
