Haven't been up in two weeks... dratted graduates wink

But I usually don't hit the big name lakes anyway, other than WFC now and then, and Gull about once a year. I will say that on small lake two weeks ago the crapps were still biting very well, but no big bass or pike except one nice smallie smile

TBW, you registered 12 years ago to this site and have 32 posts, and you're giving us a hard time about lockjaw???? laugh

For me, the fishing has been slow, so I don't have much to report. Typical snake mania on the WFC, I'm yet to catch a walleye out there the last few trys. Maybe this weekend will be the one.

Wow! 12 years ago!?!?!?! Man time flies! You got a point....

Time to make up for lost time!

Dumb question- what is WFC?

I have often heard it is better to be quiet, and have it be assumed you do not know much; rather than open your mouth and let everyone have their judgements proved... lol

I for one really have been fishing much to offer up any great advice. Last time out was last weekend on the WFC. That was a snakefest to say the least.

Last Saturday the small LMB and some nice SMB were biting, along with some snakes on my little lake. Sunday morning, and I only got one small LMB, that was it. Not sure if ti was the rain, or me, but holy cow did the fish disappear!

Since last time I was up (2 weeks prior) the lake came alive with weedgrowth and the yard came alive with grass, weeds, etc. As far as I am concerned, we are in summer now, even thought the lake was only mid 60's in temp. Was still able to sight fish the smallies though.

The weeds are definitely ahead of schedule this year, at least on Little Pine. The sunfish seem to be a little behind though, they were attacking anything that came into the shallows.
