North Side vs South Side

Well I am a veteran angler to the north end of the lake and the good old stand by Lindy rigging on the sand and bobbers here and there, but this weekend I am fishing the south end, break habit and get out of the norm of things. So my question is how do fishing styles differ from the north sand to the south rocks? Can you still rig with the rocks or do you use more bobbers and cranking? Any info would be appreciated.

You can still rig the rocks. I use the no snag sinkers. Most people use bobbers and cranks, but I beleive that all three methods are solid options. This weekend the fish were just off the deep edge of the rocks and gravel.

I fish only the south end. I almost exclusively rig. The only difference is you have to deal with the occasional snag in the rocks. Not a big deal but you may have to double back on occasion to get it out. Reedo is correct, they were out deep off the edge. I won’t say where I was but I watched MANY boats sitting on top of the reef not doing anything and I was killing them well off the edge out deep.
