Radio in my Pro-V

Nathansdad

Question

The radio in my boat quit working a couple years ago. Figured it was time to fix it. There is power to the radio but nothing comes out of the speakers. It's hard for me to believe all the speakers went out at once. Any thoughts?

I would guess it is your radio and not the speakers. You can get a new one fairly cheap, just make sure the one you pick is weather proof.

I just put in a new radio in my Lund! Purchased it on line from wally world for $79.00. MSRP is $186!

Sounds great! Accepts SD card, MP3, etc. input! Comes with 2 speakers, but can hook up 4! 2c

Judt to warn everyone, we got the Lowrance Sonic Hub installed in our boat, and after having previously a JBL reciever and JBL speakers the Lowrance Sonic Hub is junk...The speakers that come with the kit are terrible! We already swapped them out for some Polk audio db series speakers which helped alot, but even so the quality of the signals and fequency the lowrance head unit is putting out sucks, it distorts at medium volume. Also we put a amplified antenna on also and still we can hardly pull any radio stations, even when we are in Waconia we can not get a Twin Cities radio station, except KS95. Don't get me wrong though if you are just looking for a little background music maybe this is for you but we like to go out cruising on our boat sometimes, or tubing and the sonic hub just does not cut it.

Also I highly recommend any JBL product, they have been one of the top quality names in audio for many years!
